What is the Three Fold Formula?
The three fold involves three layers or steps.
First is education. Now this could be through social media (most preferably), offline marketing, cold emails etc. This is basically to create the awareness on whatever you do and eventually sell. Always remember to try to sell the problem here and not the product itself. It may sound counterintuitive but it’s pretty effective in sales.
Second is value offering. This is where you have the person’s attention (not necessarily interest). This could be anything, even a sales call. I use blogging and newsletter as a value offering. Whatever you do in here it should actually provide a bit of value as this will help to build trust with your future customers. I believe this is one of the most important “layer” of this formula.
Third is sales. Once you have the person’s attention to the problem and then you’ve elaborated such a beautiful solution. They are more incline to buying your product or service rather than just selling your product or service right away.
Now this is not a complete answer to all your business marketing problems but it can definitely provide with a framework to start. You can bend it or add different steps at different layers according to your business. Every business is going to have a different Three Fold Formula.
